About Carmen
Carmen Balanza-Davis writes across genres as a form of lay ministry: family sagas and historical intrigue, mysteries and speculative stories, illustrated children’s books, colouring books, Christian writing, and prayers and worship for everyday life.
Her work is shaped by family, by the English landscape she knows well, and by a conviction that every life has dignity and purpose. The All the Way Up with Downs series grew from that conviction — gentle picture books that help children (and the adults who love them) navigate time, change, and courage.
Through Piece Together Faith and The Visual Christian she offers songs, night prayers, meditation music, Scripture shorts and faith-rooted visuals — small pieces of peace in a noisy world.
